Monrovia Memorial Hospital VSI Increment #1 and #2 & Emergency Generator Replacement
PROJECT OVERVIEW
This multi-year, multi-phased project required major structural renovations to a fully operational hospital and surgical center. The 1st phase included the installation of (8) new exterior buttresses. Phase 2 consisted of the installation of (1) interior buttress and the remodel of (3) existing restrooms for ADA compliance. The 3rd phase included roof work; straps, drag struts, installation of new roof joists, blocking and replacement of roof sheathing. The final phase called for new shear paneling on all corridor walls, installation of a new grade beam footing at the nurse's station and completing the shear wall transfer to the roof throughout the corridors.
